Bone Island Rental Policies - Monthly Rental Policies

• In-season / Off-season Dates
  In-Season Rates: December 15 - May 31
  Off-Season Rates: June 1 - December 14
• Deposit
  A 50% deposit is required to reserve. Final payment is due 30 days prior to check in. Reservations that are booked inside 60 days from arrival are charged full and final payment at time of booking. There is a $25 non-refundable reservation processing fee.
• Security Deposit
  There is a $1000.00 security deposit required with your final payment. It must be a certified bank check or money order. A refund check will be issued within 10 days after check-out if no damages to the property were incurred.
• Cleaning Fee
  There is a $200.00 cleaning fee applied to the rental.
• Pet Policies

• Cancellation.
  Go to Cancellation Policies.
• Telephones
  A long distance block is on all phones, calling cards or credit cards, or collect call must be used for all long distance.
• Check-in / Check-out
  4:00 P.M. Check-out time is 11 A.M. Cleaning staff will arrive at 11 A.M.
• Rates
  1. Published rates are subject to change without notice and do not include 7.5% State Sales Tax, 5% Monroe County Tourist Tax, or other additional fees some properties may incur.
  2. Festival, special events and holiday rates include Christmas, New Years, 4th of December 15, Fantasy Fest, Power Boat Race Week, Easter, Yacht Race weeks and Lobster Season when rates are higher.
• Returned Checks
  A $50 check fee will be charged if a check is returned to us by the bank for insufficient funds.
• Hurricane Refund Policy
  If you have concerns about possible trip interruption or cancellation due to an impending storm, hurricane watch or warning, mandatory evacuation or hurricane aftermath that may prevent travel to Key West, please purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance as no hurricane refunds are offered.
• Smoking
  Our homes are all non-smoking. Smoking is allowed outside only and ashtrays are provided. Smoking inside, will result in a minimum fine of $250.
• Guest Responsibilities
  1. The rental agreement specifies the number of adults and children allowed to stay as guests in the unit. If a number greater than the agreed upon number and ages occurs, you will be asked to leave with no refund.
  2. The guest signing the rental agreement assumes all responsibility for the actions and behavior of all guests and agrees to follow the rules of the property posted therein.
  3. Our properties are in residential neighborhoods and are unsuitable for loud parties, events or entertaining groups. If behavior or noise results in a noise complaint or any violation set forth by the City of Key West laws and ordinances, or any other violation of the rental agreement, you will be asked to leave with no refunds given. 
  4. If keys are lost, there will be a $20 charge for each key lost.
  5. If personal property is left behind and it is necessary for the items to be returned, a $25 fee, in addition to the cost of the postage and containers, will be assessed.
